Madrid, Spain, 1964. Doctor in Law from Complutense University in Madrid. Dean of the Faculty of Bioethics of Regina Apostolorum Pontifical Atheneum in Rome. Chairholder of the UNESCO Chair in Bioethics and Human Rights. He has been member of the Steering Committee of Bioethics in the Council of Europe. Awarded by the Spanish Royal Academy of Doctors in the field of legal and social sciences.
