Dr Tania Vasquez

D. and MA in Sociology from the University of Texas, Austin, with a specialization in Demography (Migration Area) and sociologist from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. She has worked on Latin American demography, internal and international migration, urbanization, and education using the perspectives of household demography, social network analysis, geographic information systems (GIS), frequently connecting ethnographic and demographic approaches. She is a senior researcher at the Institute of Peruvian Studies and currently serves as Research Director of this research center.
