Bachelor in Maritime Sciences from the Naval School of Peru, and Bachelor in Theology from the Centro de Estudios Superiores da Companhia de Jesus in Brazil. Master in Theology with specialization in Fundamental Theology from the Faculté Pontificale de Théologie de la Compagnie de Jésus in France. Diploma in Anthropological Studies from the PUCP. PhD in Social Anthropology with specialization in Ethnobiology from the Ecole Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales in France. Author of several books and research on Communication, Ecology, Botany, ethnobotany, Amazonia and Sustainable Development in Peru and France. Full Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Peru and of the Geographic Society of Lima.
